Oyo State intercepts 67 vehicles with passengers, goods

The Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority said on Tuesday , that it impounded 67 articulate vehicles conveying non -essential goods and travellers from the northern part of the country into the state .
The Chairman , OYRTMA , Mogaji Akin Fagbemi , who made the disclosure , said the 67 trucks were impounded based on intelligence reports that some elements were trying to outsmart the security agencies at entry points to the state .
Fagbemi added that “six fake OYRTMA officials were also arrested and handed over to the police for further investigation .”
The OYRTMA chief , who said bad eggs would be eased out of the agency , warned those flouting the inter – state lockdown directive to desist from doing so or face stiff sanctions.
